Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art
A unique museum preserving Italian Jewish heritage, featuring synagogue interiors, ritual objects, and art exhibitions.

The U. Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art preserves a rare, intimate heritage spanning the Middle Ages to the present. At its heart stands the reconstructed 1701 Conegliano Veneto synagogue, transferred intact from Italy to Jerusalem in the 1950s. The extensive collection features exquisite ritual objects, textiles, carved wooden furniture, and rare Renaissance books. Blending this historical treasure with contemporary art exhibitions, the museum offers a unique, cross-generational dialogue in downtown Jerusalem.
