Ticho House

The former Jerusalem home of Anna and Abraham Ticho, now a museum offering art exhibitions, a café, and cultural programs in a peaceful courtyard.

Ticho House venue

Ticho House is one of Jerusalem's most beloved cultural landmarks — a gracious Ottoman stone mansion purchased in 1924 by ophthalmologist Dr. Abraham Albert Ticho and his wife Anna, a celebrated Israeli artist. Now part of the Israel Museum, it combines rotating art exhibitions with a popular cafe. Anna Ticho bequeathed the house to Jerusalem as a public center for art and culture, a tradition of creative gathering it continues to this day.
